Trash the Dress Session!!

I did my first trash the dress session of my friend Birgitte and her new husband Stefan!!!

We did the session a little backwards...we did the shoot BEFORE the wedding, with a doctored up Goodwill dress. Typically they are done AFTER the wedding, with the real dress, and you get cool shots doing things with the dress that you wouldn't normally do, because you are afraid of getting it dirty.

Well, you will never wear that dress again, so live it up and get some awesome pictures in it!!!

This session was SO fun! I would do one of these everyday if I could! The newlyweds are finally married, so now I can finally post these! (We didn't want to give away what they looked like as bride and groom before the big day)

These twin girls were SO cute! They were also challenging to photograph at the same time. You know how babies can be!

While in California, I had the opportunity to take my cousin's senior portraits. She's graduating next year! She was so fun to photograph!

While visiting family in California, I was on the job part of the time, photographing family. This is my Aunt and Uncle, and they make such a cute couple! There were sunny skies and my awesome family to hang out with, which makes for a great trip!

This was such a great family to work with! Such cute kiddos! I love the tie-dye shirts that were made by one of the Aunt's for all the kids in this fun pose!

This image actually looked really different originally (see below). Editing was done to make the background a much lighter color, to make the main focus, the little girl, pop out. I think it worked! Pretty cute if I say so myself! Only her parents can take credit for that though. :)
